Dr. Mordena Sullen is a third-generation Atlanta native.  Upon completion of Frederick Douglass High School, she furthered her education at Howard University . While at Howard University, she graduated first in her class of Dental Hygiene.  She practiced as a licensed hygienist in Atlanta for one year and later decided to pursue a career as a dentist.  Dr. Sullen completed her dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry .  Dr. Sullen then returned to Atlanta and worked as an associate for a few years.  She established her own practice in the same community in which she grew up.

 

Dr. Sullen gives back to her community both at home and abroad. She volunteers regularly with Colgate's Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program.   She has completed several mission trips to Honduras, Kenya, and Jamaica. Dr. Sullen is a member of the National Dental Association , the American Dental Association ,  the Georgia Dental Association, and the North Georgia Dental Society.  She is on the Board of Directors for Atlanta Technical College for both the dental assisting and the dental hygiene programs.  She enjoys playing the piano, shopping, working out, and reading.  She resides with her husband and two daughters.
